The practice of theoretical thinking allows us to draw conclusions based on previously attained knowledge. Once again, this type of thought process should only be practiced with the appropriate amount of previously attained knowledge. While theoretical thinking may not be totally factual, it provides assistance in the form of problem solving as well as a means of the process of elimination. Sometimes, the most linear path to the truth is an understanding of what has already been proven false.
